32 098 10-S Kohler Starter.  Kohler part numbers 32-098-08-S, 32-098-04-S, 32-098-03-S, 3209804, 32-098-01-S, 3209803, 3209801 have been superseded to 32-098-10-S.  Electric Starter for Twin Sv710, Sv715, Sv720, Sv730, Sv735, Sv740, Sv810, Sv820, Sv830, Sv840 as well as ZT and KT Series engines.  The 32-098-10s inertia starter drive offers several improvements over its predecessor, including a stronger shaft, a 9-tooth pinion, and patent RDD (rubber disc drive) technology. This starter exhibits higher torque and speed, resulting in a cranking speed of 80 rpm faster than the previous model. The introduction of a shorter motor with a cold-forged pinion, covered end cap bearing, and a new 9-tooth pinion enhances the overall stability of cranking and provides increased torque. With higher speed translating to more frequent pinion and ring gear meshing, this starter ensures better roll-over engine speed and eliminates hot restart stalling issues. The reduction in current further contributes to the stability of the starter.  80 rpm faster cranking speed 9-tooth pinion adds increased torque. Rubber disc drive shields the friction surface from contaminants. 4.5mm increase in shaft diameter.
